How to use

Place the OakClaw somewhere your cat already likes to hang out. Drop a few treats, some freeze-dried chicken or a pinch of catnip inside and let them dig. For back paws, lift the lid off so they can kick at the lining. A few sessions a week keeps nails in good shape. If nails are already very long, give them one trim first.

This is a really nice cat enrichment toy, with lots of holes for catching toy mousies or fishing for balls. It comes flat-packed and is super easy to put together - everything clicks in place withno tools or screws. The inside of the box is liked in sandpaper, to keep the cats claws filed while they play. My cats enjoyed playinh with this, but it's not their favourite toy - I think they prefer cardboard scratchers over wood. They'll get used to it the more they find treats hidden inside!

Comes as flat pack that is very easy to build. No small pieces or fiddly screws. You wiggle the wooden ends into the slots which are all built very well and precisely so they fit very securely. Once they are connected it does not budge. The wood has clean finishes and smooth edges. I feel very confident to let my cat use this for play. She instantly started playing catch the treat. The holes are about 1.5 cm above the bottom so it’s a challenge to flick the treats out but she was successful within the first few minutes. Very good enrichment toy that is well designed and built, safe and looks to last!

Loved by all our cats, even the one that usually isn't interested in cat toys. Since assembling this unit, our cats have spent time sitting or laying next to it just staring or poking at the balls inside as if deciding on a plan to retrieve them. Thus far only one ball has made its way out. Some holes seem purposely large so they can achieve their goal of retrieving a ball. On arrival this item is flat packed into 6 panels. Assembly is very easy by just matching the slots. Once you have done that, just screw in the 4 provided screws using the included screwdriver. The puzzle has holes on all 4 sides and the top to give your cats plenty of access points. The inside has a sandpaper like surface, I'm not sure what for but perhaps it's stimulating to cats.
